This is the first such event in Ukraine
Script & Cast pitch participants will be able to present themselves or their project to producers, casting directors, agents and directors. Participation in the event is free.
For actors and screenwriters, Script & Cast pitch is a good opportunity to start a career or accelerate it, find a team to make a future film, remind yourself and expand your network of contacts.
"Actors, as well as representatives of other film professions, need networking in addition to the creative aspect. This is one of the important components of our profession. Based on foreign experience and the need to establish communications, new partnerships and launch projects in this exhausting pandemic, we decided to create a separate platform for networking of film professionals. In the future, we plan to involve representatives of most film professions in this kind of self-presentation, as well as make the event an annual event, "says casting director Olga Lyubarova.
The pitchers will be selected by a jury consisting of director, screenwriter and writer Marisa Nikitiuk, casting director Olena Shevchuk, DreamCast founder, casting director Olga Lyubarova, Terrarium founder Dmytro Sukholitky-Sobchuk, Terrarium project manager Oleksandra So.
To apply, actors must prepare a presentation and complete a registration form at www.dreamcast.in.ua/pitch (this requires a DreamCast profile).
Students of Terrarium courses 2018/2019/2020 can take part in the scenario selection. To do this, they must decide on the project to be pitched and fill out the registration form: shorturl.at/muJNP with a short video pitch of their script.
"We want to select for pitching the participants of our previous script courses, who have finalized their idea for the film and are ready to present it to the film community. Pitching is necessary for a screenwriter, as he can not only state / remind about his project, but also find a producer, director or team for further work. We want the opportunity to present our script to be available in the cinema environment for those who need it, ”commented Oleksandra Sorokhan, co-organizer of the event.

The event will be held in accordance with all the requirements of the Ministry of Health with a limited number of guests and participants. Venue - Kooperativ (23A Sichovykh Striltsiv Street). Date of the event - December 22. Start at 18.00.
