DzygaMDB: User-Friendly Updates

01 December 2020

The online platform DzygaMDB presents a number of usability updates, including group chats, availability calendar, a separate section on film commissions in Ukraine and legislation in the film industry.

All updates have been implemented with the support of the USAID Competitive Economy of Ukraine Program. There are more than 2,600 profiles of registered film professionals, information on 3,600 film, TV and video projects, and data on 146 industry companies available on the DzygaMDB platform. The integration of databases of the Ukrainian film professionals and tools updates will allow the platform to operate faster and more efficiently thus being more useful for Ukrainian and international film professionals. In less than two months, the project team developed and implemented the following tools:

  • Integration of databases of the Ukrainian film professionals - all the links to the accounts on other professional resources (imdb, cinando, mandy, docudays, etc.) can be added to the personal profile or company's page.
  • Educational videos on how to use global platforms for film professionals such as imdb, cinando and mandy.
  • Chat for effective collaboration and workflow coordination. Chat supports messages to an individual user as well as creating groups and file sharing up to 25 MB.
  • Availability calendar of film professionals, with the help of which you can offer cooperation to the required specialist.
  • Information on the legal aspects of the filming process in Ukraine, which includes  collection of bills and provisions with an English gist.
  • New section “Film Commission in Ukraine” with data on the availability of film commissions in different regions of the country and detailed information on their capabilities.

All updates are already available for use.
