The annual International Short Film Festival, the most important short film festival in Switzerland, will take place in Winterthur from 3 to 8 November this year. Ukraine has become one of the countries on which the current event focuses. As part of the film review, 4 blocks of Ukrainian short films will be shown:
- retrospective of Marina Vroda's films: "Rain", "Oath", "Family Portrait", "Cross" and "Snails";
- "Underground Resistances" which included: "Integration" by Oleksiy Radynsky, "Armed and dangerous. Episode 1" and "Armed and Dangerous. Episode 2"- Mykola Ridny, "Film-Sand"- Sashko Protyag, "Sisters" - Valentina Petrova, Anna Shcherbyna and "Leninopad"- Svitlana Shymko;
- "New Ukrainian Cinema": "Against the Sun" - Valentyn Vasyanovych, "Fro" - Polina Kelm, "Tragic love for the treacherous Nuska" - Taras Tkachenko, "Taxi Driver" - Roman Bondarchuk, "Diagnosis" - Myroslav Slaboshpytsky;
- "The State of a New Generation": "Weightlifter" - Dmitry Sukholitky-Sobchuk, "Blood" - Valeria Sochivets, "Adult" - Jeanne Ozirna and "Solitude" - Elizabeth Smith.
Also in the non-competitive sections of the festival will be shown the Irish-Ukrainian film "Rocking Chair" and the animated film "King Plaxius and Loscoton".
