Lubomyr Levitsky together with Plyusy plans to create a series based on the film "Captain Ukraine".
Director Lubomyr Levitsky took part in the fourteenth pitching of the State Cinema, where he asked experts to allocate UAH 30 million (from UAH 60 million of the total budget) for the production of the film, and at the same time provided some interesting information about the future of the project.
First, Lubomyr already expects to become a record-breaking director: in 15 minutes of the presentation he has stated several times that he intends to earn "Captain of Ukraine" as much as UAH 100 million from the national box office. To say that the goal is ambitious is like saying nothing. Secondly, Levitsky already has a preliminary agreement with the distributor - if nothing changes, Kinomania will become him. Well, and thirdly (and this is the most interesting), the director signed a memorandum with the channel "1 + 1" on the creation of a series based on the picture.
The director will produce "Captain of Ukraine" independently. And now the main question for him is whether state funding will be provided based on the results of pitching.
