For respect for the reality packed by the author in a delicate story and for the incredible trust of the person in the frame to the author of the film holding a camera - the main prize of the Wiz-Art festival in the national competition we decided to give the film "Save me, doctor!" Dmitry Greshka
Special award 1 in the national competition: "Carpet" by Natalia Kiselyova. Jury comment: "For creating a lyrical image of a Ukrainian teenager, in whose life love and war enter equally rapidly and fatefully, generating a hitherto unknown feeling of care and self-sacrifice on the way to growing up and accepting the Other"
Special award 2 in the national competition: "In our synagogue" by Ivan Orlenko. Jury comment: "For a mature and restrained stylistic approach, which skillfully conveys the Kafkaesque essence of the unfinished story" The Beast in the Synagogue ". The short film skillfully creates a sense of foreshadowing, typical of the story of 1923, and this is what gives the film to live its own life.
Ivan Orlenko's film "In Our Synagogue" won the audience award in the national competition. He received a nomination for the European Audience Award (he will be represented at 10 European film festivals), as well as a grant of 100 thousand hryvnias from the Lviv City Council for the shooting of the next film in Lviv.
