EVOS FILM has started shooting Kristina Tynkevych's debut feature film "How's Katya?".
"How's Katya?" Is a social drama, the main character of which is an ambulance doctor Anna. She seeks justice in this imperfect world. Anna's goal is to punish those responsible for the accident, the victim of which was her daughter Katya. The heroine tries to defeat the system, but she does not notice how she becomes a part of it.
The project team also included producer Olga Matat, cinematographer Vlad Voronin, screenwriters Serhiy Kastornykh, Yulia Honchar and Natalia Blok and production artist Vlad Dudko. The main role is played by Anastasia Karpenko. The planned timing of the tape is 100 minutes.
The project won the eleventh competition of projects of the State Cinema of Ukraine in the category "Full-length debuts". The project was developed in one of the most influential script workshops - Midpoint Feature Launch, and is presented at many international platforms, including Thessaloniki's Agora Crossroads Co-Production Forum, Karlovy Vary Eastern Promises (Works in Development), EAVE on Demand Kyiv, EWA Fest Forward and became the winner of the New Horizons Studio + (Best Pitch Award).
Filming will continue until the end of July 2020. Festival and cinema rentals are scheduled for 2021.
