More than 50 Ukrainian producers and 250 screenwriters took part in the Scenario Pitching project

A total of 564 scenarios were submitted for participation in the pitching.

The Scenario Pitching project, launched by the Ukrainian Film Academy and the DzygaMDB online platform, took place. The initiator of the pitching was the screenwriter Serhiy Kastornykh. Among the producers who supported the project at the stage of its creation are Volodymyr Yatsenko, Oleksiy Gladushevsky, Olga Panteleimonova, Yegor Olesov and Maksym Asadchy, Olga Panteleimonova, Olena Yeremeeva, Olena Kanyshevska, Natalia Strybuk, as well as UAnimA and many others. In total, more than 50 producers and 250 screenwriters took part in the Scenario Pitching project.

On June 29, there was an online presentation of ideas from screenwriters to producers. During the online pitching, 40 projects were presented. Scenario ideas were considered in the following categories:

  • full-length feature films for a wide audience,
  • full-length feature films of the festival direction,
  • TV series,
  • TV series for VOD or multiplatform series,
  • animated series for both television and multiplatform.

564 scenarios were submitted for participation in the "Scenario Pitching". As a result, 9 projects were presented in the category of animated series:

  • "Xi", author Victor Romanchenko
  • "Misha Tosya", author Irina Malamuzh
  • "Flies and others", author Anatoly Gordiychuk
  • "The Adventures of Periwinkle", author Alexei Komarovsky
  • "Robonyanya", author Roman Rosengurt
  • "The Secret of Mr. Bernoulli's House", author Vadym Sheshych

In addition, based on the results of "Scenario Pitching", the best animated series will be selected for presentation at the Warsaw Kids Forum.

In the category of feature films, 9 projects were presented:

  • "Kozak", author Andriy Syrota
  • "Molehole", author Alexei Zenkevich
  • "My cleaning lady", author Zhanna Ozirna

  • "The Curse of Mary", author Stepan Oliynyk
  • "Ukrainian Disco", author Leonid Zyabrev

In the category "Series" 22 projects were presented:

During the voting for the projects in "Scenario Pitching", the producers noted an average of up to 5 ideas. In the future, such pitching will be held every six months.
