Applications are accepted from May 27 to June 10
Applications for participation in the "Scenario Pitching", which will take place from 24 to 26 June in the format of online conferences, have been opened. Applications from screenwriters are accepted from May 27 to June 10.
Both professional screenwriters and beginners who have ideas that they would like to present to producers are invited to participate. Loglines and synopses of existing scenarios, or ideas for scenarios, must be submitted for consideration in pitching.
To apply, register at the link and be sure to indicate in the "profession" field that you are a screenwriter. After registration you will be able to submit a script. How to do it is described in detail in the instructions here.
Scenario ideas will be considered in the following categories:
- full-length feature films for a wide audience,
- full-length feature films of the festival direction,
- TV series,
- TV series for VOD or multiplatform series,
- animated series for both television and multiplatform.
Pitching ideas that meet the following criteria will be allowed for pitching: technical (all necessary information is provided), compliance with categories, at least 3 producers are interested in the idea. Almost 50 producers have already joined the pitching, working with both national and international projects.
Useful materials on participation in pitching will be posted on the Dzygamdb page on Facebook. All pitching questions should be sent to info@dzygamdb.com. It will be recalled that Scenario Pitching was launched by the Ukrainian Film Academy and the online platform DzygaMDB. This is a project for producers who are looking for new ideas, as well as for screenwriters who want to tell their ideas and ready-made scripts to producers. The initiator of the pitching was the screenwriter Serhiy Kastornykh.
