“Cinema shows us not life itself, but what it is and can be. We have selected in the OIFF Flashback program those films in which this diversity of reality is embedded to the maximum. We will show the tapes that have been in the international OIFF competition in recent years. Therefore, if you miss the Odessa International Film Festival, you have the opportunity to get to its online version now. Given the selection they made at the time, and the feedback of viewers who did not have time to watch some of the films, and later could not find them anywhere, the project is now on time. Cinema has such a property as support and consolation. In fact, this is exactly what we need most now, ”said Yulia Sinkevych, general producer of the Odessa International Film Festival.
“With the OIFF Flashback project, the Takflix.com platform opens a new page of its activity and introduces the Ukrainian Internet audience to bright auteur films from all over the world. Under quarantine, we expand the boundaries of physical space and travel with viewers to three continents and ten countries. The Flashback selection includes festival hits from Colombia, Afghanistan, Georgia, Great Britain, Norway, Spain, Italy, Lithuania, Belarus and Greece ”, - commented Nadf Parfan, co-founder of Takflix.com.
The sponsor of the special project was the ARARAT brand, which always supports the film industry. In particular, for the third year in a row, the brand supports the Odessa International Film Festival.
The project partners are the design agency QubDStudio and the law firm Axon Partners.
