Star Media Film Company and Ukraine TV Channel have completed the shooting of the 16-episode detective melodrama Shusha, starring Anastasia Panina, Ivan Oganesyan, Sergey Deng and Elena Koreneva.
At the heart of the plot of the show "Shusha" is the expert-criminalist Alexandra Ladinina (Anastasia Panina). She lives with her mother and 13-year-old brother and is not at all worried that, before she was forty, she was never married. He dedicates all of his life and energy to his favorite work. Her attitude changes when a new head of the "downhole" department, Ilya Vlasov (Ivan Oganesyan), arrives at the Ministry of Internal Affairs. It turns out that in childhood Sasha and Ilyusha went to one kindergarten, and later their friendship grew into a first feeling, and he affectionately called her - Shusha. 18 years have passed since then, and Ladinina is sure that the former will never return ...

- I liked the story, which is headed by a heroine - a woman punishing arbitrariness. And not only this "Shusha" will be different from the mass of other detective series, - says Artem Vadimovich. - Anastasia Panina is an incredibly charismatic actress, her play cannot leave any viewer indifferent. It will reveal eight incredibly intricate crimes over the course of 16 episodes. Along with the modern story of the main character, we will show her past - the relationship with her loved one Ilya Vlasov. Viewers will see the protagonists' childhoods (played by young actors Makar Ryzhkov and Kira Podilsky as a child), and then how their feelings developed during their teenage years (at this age we will see a play by actors Veronica Lukyanenko and Dani Kamensky). Watching the intertwining of fates in different years and time will be very interesting!
Finding actors for such a complex ensemble took a long time. For example, seven actresses were tried for the role of the protagonist. In addition to the main characters in the plot, there is another character who will pour oil into the fire of their relationship - senior investigator Kukushkin (Sergei Denga). He is a colleague of Elijah and Alexandra, and, of course, is secretly in love with Ladyzin, and this causes quite clear annoyance at Vlasov. Thanks to this service love triangle, intrigue and exacerbation of passion increases many times over.
- My Kukushkin - a person educated and competent, he is not a bandit in uniform, knows how to investigate crimes without assaults and breaking his fingers - not without pride says Sergei Deng. - There are a lot of fun moments not captured by the script during filming. For example, the other day they were shooting in the stable - the pursuit of the criminal Dundee (Alexander Melnyk), who is on horseback from persecution. But in one of the takes, I ran after him a little earlier and managed to grab his leg. We had to make detentions - there are no giveaways in our series. Of course, the whole cast was laughing, but Shusha is not a comedy series. Although the moments that cause a smile are enough. Once removed in a men's room where the murder was committed. Me and Alexandra are conducting investigative activities indoors, and visitors are amazed at what makes such a beautiful girl in such a strange place. But you have to choose - Ladinina and I all 16 series go side by side as Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson.
It is unlikely that the words of Ivan Oganesyan's character Kukushkin would be glad, because he is not just trying to win Shusha again, he is trying to prove himself on a professional level and thus raise himself in the eyes of his beloved.
