The story of the life and love of one woman by the outstanding Ukrainian poet and translator Maksym Rylskyi (1895-1964).
When Maksym Rylskyi came to move into his friend Ivan Ochkurenk's flat in Kyiv, the owner was not at home. Rylskyi was greeted by his wife, Kateryna. It was love at first sight and for life. Kateryna could not stay with her husband and left home with Maksym. She experienced fame, arrest, persecution, joy and misfortune with him.
