Behind the War is a documentary following former Colombian soldiers who join the Ukrainian Armed Forces after Russia's full-scale invasion. With exceptional frontline access, the film captures their transformation from foreign volunteers into participants in one of the world's most complex modern wars. It also documents the creation of Guajiro, a Spanish-speaking combat unit that became the foundation of the Khartiia Brigade's international battalion behind the decision to fight in a foreign war.
