The film is dedicated to the 800th anniversary of the city of Chernobyl and the 7th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster.

The film shows the checkpoint at the entrance to the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, a memorial service at the Chernobyl cemetery, the laying of flowers at the Glory Memorial, and the Christmas and Easter services at St Illya’s Church in the town of Chernobyl, and the devastated St Michael’s Church in the village of Krasne, Ivankiv District, Kyiv Oblast. The film features the writer Lina Kostenko and Father Fedir.
