Tales of the Uncharted Land is an animated series of five standalone stories set in a fictional world inspired by Ukrainian landscapes, nature, folklore, and the material culture of different regions of Ukraine. Each tale has its own characters, story and landscape, while together they gradually reveal the Uncharted Land – a world that cannot be found on any map. Here, a marsh may conceal a path, a border may turn out to be alive, and an encounter with the unknown does not necessarily have a rational explanation.
