Decision Day is a short film that will resonate with every Ukrainian. The story is about a man who worked as a physical education teacher at a school. Together with his wife, they dreamed of owning their own home. So to earn money, he went to work in Sweden. The news of a full-scale war forced the man to return home. The protagonist puts the interests of the state above his own; he stands up to defend his homeland and becomes a soldier. There, “at ground zero,” after being wounded, he realizes what and whom he is fighting for. After rehabilitation, he returns to his comrades in arms with a new goal.
