The protagonist is a simple road worker who has always considered himself an ordinary person with no ambitions for heroism or fame. But when the war knocked on his door, his life was turned upside down. The search for his daughter, who disappeared in the chaos of war, becomes his main goal. Having travelled to the occupied territory, Oleg is confronted with the lawlessness and cruelty of the Russian invaders who commit atrocities. Throughout his journey, he has to do the impossible: save not only himself but also the people around him.
