This is a story about Marius, a computer science teacher from Poland, who sets out to find and rescue his 12-year-old daughter Maria from Mariupol, which is occupied by the Russian army. The hero meets incredible people who help him search for his daughter and goes through a very difficult and dangerous journey: he repeatedly finds himself on the brink of life and death, sneaks through the front line under fire, and is captured. The Ukrainian war reality changes the man: from a modest and indecisive teacher, he turns into a true hero of his time.
