The film features a discussion of the past, present and future of Crimea and its indigenous people, the Crimean Tatars, with the leader of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Dzhemilev, the Chairman of the Mejlis Refat Chubarov, MPAkhtem Chiygoz, actor and film director Akhtem Seitablaev, former prisoner of a Russian prison, Leniya Umerova, as well as publicist Vitaliy Portnikov and MP Mykola Kniazhytskyi.

The film also discusses how to prevent mass repressions in Crimea, in particular against Crimean Tatars, and what steps Ukraine can take now to support Crimean Tatars and speed up the de-occupation.
