The film recreates the chronology of events that unfolded in the Yaremche region at the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The film is based on the stories of Carpathian residents, volunteers and businessmen who found the opportunity to shelter a large number of Ukrainian families in this small region at their own expense. Together, with the help of local businesses, the Carpathian Volunteer Center was created, which included hundreds of caring people who were eager to help everyone who needed it. In the shortest possible time, extremely important decisions were made to resettle, feed and provide beds for all people who had lost almost everything.
The men of Prykarpattia who were joining the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the TRO had the opportunity to receive everything they needed from the volunteer center free of charge: from ammunition, clothing and equipment to vehicles and ATVs prepared for the front line. Throughout the year, every day, almost twenty hours a day, ordinary people, small businesses and businessmen worked side by side to ensure that every displaced person had protection, food and warmth, and that the defender had everything he needed to defend his country.
