The return to the former battlegrounds of Hornst Engelhard, a German who fought in Ukraine during World War II, became the occasion for the documentary to tell about the tragedy that any war brings and the feeling of war of a whole generation of former Wehrmacht soldiers who were forced to fight on foreign soil for false ideals, often leaving their lives behind.
