The story of Nikolai Grigorievich Repnin-Volkonsky (1778-1845), the hero of Austerlitz, viceroy of Saxony after Napoleon's defeat, Governor-General of Little Russia (1816-1835), a disgraced prince during the reign of Nicholas I in the Russian Empire, whom everyone considered a man of the past, the Alexander era.
