The story of 146 days of airport defense in 2014. The film also shows the seizure of administrative buildings in Lugansk itself and the transfer of the city to the hands of pro-Russian authorities, tells of the beginning of the siege of the airport itself and the tragedy of the downed IL-76 and the death of 49 paratroopers.

More than 40 soldiers and commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and volunteer battalions are gathered in the film, including two Heroes of Ukraine: Major General Andrey Kovalchuk and Lieutenant Colonel Vasyl Zubanych. Also used are unique photos and videos provided by the fighters.
