The documentary project is based on the story of Opanas Dermenzhi, a famous Ukrainian architect who designed thousands of architectural structures in the southern region of Ukraine. It was he who built the Antonivskyi Bridge. Opanas Opanasovych and his wife Mariia Heorhiiivna, like many other townspeople, remained in their homes in Oleshky after the capture of Crimea and parts of eastern Ukraine. However, after the dam was blown up, before they could evacuate, they found themselves in a water trap — on the one hand, the Russians, on the other, the river, which washed away roads and filled their homes with water.

Serhii Zeynalov, grandson of Opanas Dermenzhi, lost contact with his grandparents and began recording video diaries in which he recorded his emotions and talked about the search for his relatives. The lack of communication, constant shelling, and the water that is constantly filling all the houses on the left bank forced Serhii to act. Confused and upset, Zeinalov and his friend, journalist Maksym Khotilenko, decide to go to Kherson in the hope of rescuing and returning their relatives to the government-controlled territory of Ukraine.

During the trip, Serhii and Maksym meet volunteers, the military, and local residents who managed to leave the occupied territories of the left bank. All the recorded conversations and video diaries formed the basis of this project.
