Today, liberated Kherson is regularly shelled by Russian troops. Therefore, it is dangerous to open the doors of the theater and invite the audience. The theater is empty. But it only seems so.
Meanwhile, the theater troupe is rehearsing the play in Kyiv. Now they do not need roles  - they playing themselves, in a documentary show they tell their story - how the people of Kherson resisted, how they left the Russian occupation due to their pro-Ukrainian position. There are seven chairs and a horn on the stage. This is all the props. Everyone talks about what they really experienced. About rallies, about resistance, about house searches, about the risk of being shot when leaving.
Those who remained in Kherson have to spend most of their time in the basement of the theater, where the townspeople hid in the first days of the full-scale invasion. Now there is the heart of the Kherson theater.
Did the war divide people not only physically?
