The film tells the story of the musicians of the Ukrainian band Antytila, who left their normal lives to defend Ukraine.
Before the full-scale invasion, the famous Ukrainian band Antytila packed stadiums across the country, released dozens of music videos, toured Europe and America and won the love of millions of listeners. However, the musicians have never stayed away from what was happening in the country: since the beginning of Russia's war against Ukraine in 2014, they have been actively volunteering and helping the defenders at the front. And on 24 February 2022, the band members Taras Topolia, Serhii Vusyk and Dmytro Zholud joined the 130th Battalion of the TRO of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend the country.
During their service, Antytila took part in the battles for Kyiv, and later worked as paramedics in hot spots in the Kharkiv region, saving the lives of Ukrainian soldiers. In between duties on the front line, the musicians gave more than a hundred interviews to foreign media, calling for help for Ukraine, recorded a joint song with Ed Sheeran and performed on the same stage as Bono and The Edge.
This is the first documentary in the Culture vs War series about Ukrainian artists who were forced to stop their creative work to defend Ukraine.
