Stanislav Aseyev was reporting from his native city of Donetsk for various Ukrainian media, after a part of the Donbas region fell under the control of Russia-backed separatist militants in May 2014. In May 2017 Stanislav was taken captive and put in prison called Isolation. There he started writing a book describing what was happening in that secret prison, which a few years ago was the main cultural platform of the region.

Stanislav was included in a prisoner exchange in December 2019. After his release, he finishes his book and returns to his running trainings. He finally comes to the I-ZONE cultural center in Kyiv – after the Russia-backed separatist militants seized the territory of Isolation in Donetsk, the Cultural Foundation moved to the capital of Ukraine. Looking around the premises of the cultural center to arrange the future presentation of his book there, Stanislav compares the buildings in Donetsk and Kyiv, and the memories from the pages of his book obtain new features…
