The absurd narrative of contemporary social problems in Ukraine, told by cinema a century ago, connects modernity and traditional Soviet social realism.

It is in the imitation of the images of the old worldview system that, contrary to the creation of their own, the authors see the roots of the distorted reality in the post-Soviet territory and, as a consequence, the node of social, cultural, political and economic problems, in particular military conflicts.
