The fourth film in the historical documentary series ‘Ukraine: Reclaiming Our History’.

The project team is investigating the complex case of the murder of Metropolitan Georgy Yaroshevsky. Before his murder, Metropolitan Yaroshevsky, who was of Ukrainian origin, had been actively researching the history of Ukraine. The initial findings of the investigation into this murder point to the obscured and falsified history of the so-called ‘Dark Ages’, when Ukrainian lands were part of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The truth about this period conceals facts that changed the course of history and explains many events of the present day.
