Three films portray ordinary Ukrainians. Each has its own story, yet they share a common thread — their struggle against injustice in the country today. Ordinary people are often cut off from information about the legal options available to them that could help improve their lives, such as starting a business, helping to unite the community in protecting communal property, and their own rights and interests. These three stories show that it is possible to overcome injustice if you make an effort, are not afraid, and do not break under the pressure of circumstances. They show how ordinary people from the remote regions of eastern and southern Ukraine refused to let the system drive them into a dead end.
