A chronicle of the official celebrations marking the 300th anniversary of the founding of the Oleshky Sich (founded in 1711), which took place at the state level in autumn 2011 in the area of the modern town of Oleshky (formerly Tsjurupinsk) in the Kherson region, where a memorial plaque has been erected on the site of the Cossack centre that existed until 1728.
