A film about women who have been forced to flee from the Luhansk and Donetsk regions to the Kherson region; heroines of the unseen everyday front line whom we encounter every day: in shops, on public transport, perhaps some of them even live on the same landing as us — but can we really imagine, let alone understand, the difficulties and trials they face every day, even though the hell of war no longer rages above their heads?
Of all the displaced people fleeing the war in eastern Ukraine, 66 per cent are women who must perform the daily feat of survival and adaptation to a new place. This is an invisible foot and these are invisible people.
