Over the seven years of the war with Russia, Ukraine has seen the emergence of nearly half a million veterans. Over these same seven years, the news has been rife with reports of murders, grenade explosions and suicides committed by former combatants. Furthermore, upon returning from the war, many face family conflicts, alcoholism and drug abuse.
