The story of the adventures of two private detectives, Andrei Vorobyov and Pyotr Vorontsov, who, unaware of each other's existence, undertake to investigate the kidnapping of a well-known businessman's daughter. The charismatic, slightly infantile Vorobyov has a sharp mind and is better known for his extraordinary, cunning decisions than for his military achievements. The brutal Vorontsov, on the other hand, has a military background, is used to discipline and can obtain top-secret information through his strength and persistence. Investigating a complicated case, the detectives find out about a safe in which a gangster's "pool" with a tidy sum of money is hidden - $50 million! But to get to the money, fierce competitors and enemies will have to become a team.
