The film’s protagonist is 22-year-old Yulia. Having qualified as a doctor, she decides to try her hand at acting. And the film is not at all about the chronological sequence of events. It is about Yulia’s own experiences, her thoughts whilst preparing for a role, the scene itself, her feelings during it and the aftertaste it leaves. It is about fears and overcoming them. The narrative is told from the perspective of a third-person narrator, who is the protagonist’s closest friend. The narrator’s voice recounts the story and immerses the reader in the protagonist’s emotional state.
