A story about the formation, preparation and combat days of a volunteer battalion of the National Guard of Ukraine. The events unfold at the forefront near Popasna in 2014. While carrying out the task, six soldiers and their commander notice the shelling of one of the civilians' hamlets. A pregnant woman and two children live there. The detachment goes to the rescue. There they are attacked by a hail and taken from the battle line by three wounded soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
