Every year, 30,000 Hasidim go to Uman in Ukraine to celebrate the Jewish New Year at the tomb of Tzadik Nahman. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian far-right organization is constructing a cross on the site of Hasidic prayers and is erecting a monument to the Cossacks who killed thousands of Jews and Poles during the national uprising in 1768.
