Ukraine, 1905. In a small Jewish town live in neighboring houses ten-year-old Shimek and girl Buza. Despite their young age, they feel a light feeling of love for each other. Imagination takes them from the misery of life to a magical land where they are prince and princess in their kingdom.

Years pass, and Shimek leaves his parents' home. In the twist of life's vicissitudes, he forgets about Buzia. Some time later, Shimek receives a letter from his parents from which he learns of Boozy's wedding. The guy returns to his hometown. He meets elderly parents, as well as Buzia, who turned into a sex girl during his absence. She is a bride, but not him, but another. Shimek realizes that first love still lives in his heart ...
