The film is dedicated to the prominent contemporary artist Serhiy Chepik, who was born in Kyiv in 1953 and emigrated to France in 1988, living and working in Paris, where he died in November 2011.

The artist's works are in many museums and private collections in Russia, France, Great Britain and other countries. In particular, a series of paintings was created for St. Paul's Cathedral in London.
