Documentary full-length film “DakhaBrakha: On the Road ”is a portrait and historical fixation of the success of one of the most interesting and original Ukrainian bands, whose contribution to Ukrainian culture, popularization of the Ukrainian cultural code and ethnicity is difficult to overestimate. Their interpretation of the folk song in synergy with blues and soul performance acquires new impulses of sound and weaves the Ukrainian ethnos into the world galaxy of ethnomusic. This story sheds light on many twists and unexpected moments on the way to world fame for 15 years by band members Mark Galanevich, Iryna Kovalenko, Olena Tsybulska and Nina Harenetska. But it answers the eternal question of all creative people: "Am I on my way?".
