A story about the fate of Ukrainian women who went to work in Italy. The film explores the relationship between them and children, who in most cases remain at home. Working abroad, female workers themselves do not notice how their mothers turn into ATMs, which constantly have to give money to their relatives. They work first for the children then for the grandchildren, and only a few return.
