We all know and have heard the motif of the Jewish song "Hava Nagila" more than once. When Abraham Zvi Idelson wrote it in 1918, he could not imagine how popular it would become around the world. There are now countless covers and re-songs by singers such as Glen Campbell, The Beatles and cartoon and TV characters. But few know the whole history of this cultural phenomenon. The creators of the film "Hava Nagila" tried to understand the history of the song itself and the question of its popularity. To do this, the director and the film crew covered everything from Ukraine to YouTube.
