The movie takes us to 1984, during the time of the military conflict in Afghanistan. Lovers Anya and Mitya dream of a happy life together, but Anya is forced to leave for the USA. Mitya does not lose hope of meeting her beloved again and does not even suspect that their feelings with the girl will make them hostages of the CIA and they will be involved in a military operation.
