Victor and Alexander live in the mining towns of two geographically remote regions of Ukraine. Their lives and those of their relatives are related to the mine, however, there is another side. What are they really like? Why do they go underground every day? Through life stories, memories, everyday footage of the mining towns, we try to get closer to the heroes, to understand how similar they are to one another, apart from the mining industry and the environment in which they live.
