In the very center of Kyiv, on Mala Zhytomyrska Street, several buildings of architectural, historical and cultural value are on the verge of extinction. Among them is the Murashko Manor, a world-famous Ukrainian artist.
The municipality sells the houses to a private owner together with the residents. Everyone is being evicted. Only one family refuses to move to Troieschyna, a "sleeping" suburb of Kyiv - the family of Oleksandr Glukhov, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor of the National Aviation University.
He not only refuses unequal exchange, but also begins the struggle for the physical existence of monuments on Mala Zhytomyrska.
The film is part of the almanac of short documentaries Open Access.
