The tape is a continuation of the movie-requiem "Ilovaysk. Knights of Heaven ”and tells about the Ukrainian military in the Donbass combat zone - the fate of Ukrainian volunteer soldiers who left the military, leaving their families, training and business. The film includes stories of fighting counterparts in difficult circumstances - at the Republic Bridge bridge post near Sands, as well as interviews with relatives of the military. These are 13 stories of the Sands defenders, as well as two stories of fighters who died during an enemy attack on Novoazovsk in August 2014.
