1377 is the number of villages that were burned during the Nazi occupation of Ukraine.

The film pays special attention to the village of Koryukivka in the Chernihiv region, where on March 1-2, 1943, 1,290 houses and 6,700 people were burned. Among all the settlements destroyed by the Nazis, Koryukivka was the largest, and therefore the punitive operation to destroy this settlement is considered the largest.
