The young talented artist Maria receives an attractive offer from her friend Jeanne – to work as a designer in a company that makes exclusive jewelry to order. Jeanne is the owner of this company, and her husband Vitaly works there as a jeweler. Maria gladly agrees, but soon after her employment Vitaly runs away with his mistress, taking all the money of the company, including prepayment from customers whose orders have not yet been fulfilled.
The girl can't leave her friend in trouble, she tries her best to help her. But who will help Maria herself?..
