Polina, at one point, is left without a lover, a job and a rented apartment. It upsets her much more than the news of the death of her father, whom she has been offended with since childhood and with whom she has not spoken in five years. Polina goes to her hometown to sell his house as soon as possible, return and regain his place under the sun in the big city. But it is in her parents' home that she realizes how wrong she was about her family.
