A film about the origin and development of scientific cinema in Ukraine in the 1920s and 1940s is dedicated to the centenary of cinema.

Filmed on the basis of films of the Central State Archive of Film, Photo and Audio Documents of Ukraine, photographs from the Museum of the National Cinematheque of Ukraine and private archives.
