The story of two institute friends – Olga and Alla. They used to study together at the same university, but then lost touch. After a while, quite by accident, they were neighbors in the cottage for rest. Many years ago, they fell in love with a teacher of Slavic philology, Valery Sinitsky. Out of two friends, he chose a fragile and open Olga. But after the death of his grandmother, Olya unexpectedly severed all relations with him, and after a while Valery married Alla. 10 years have passed, Olga is already married and has a son.
